Carlisle United will learn their last-16 Papa John's Trophy opponents this weekend.
The third round draw will be made on Sky Sports on Saturday.
It will be made after their coverage of the Coventry City v West Bromwich Albion game in the Championship, which kicks off at 12.30pm.
It means the Blues will find out their Trophy opponents shortly before their FA Cup second round tie against Shrewsbury at Brunton Park.
The controversial competition - boycotted by some fans over its involvement of Premier League Under-21 teams - remains split into northern and southern sections at this stage, and is unseeded.
Possible opponents for Carlisle include Wigan Athletic, Rotherham United and Bolton Wanderers, with four other second round ties still to be settled.
The draw will be hosted by David Prutton and conducted by former Sunderland star Kevin Phillips and ex-Coventry frontman Jay Bothroyd.
Carlisle progressed to the third round after a penalty shoot-out victory over League One side Lincoln City on Tuesday night.
Third round ties will be played in the week starting January 3.
