Carlisle United are hoping to end a long winless run - and a barren Brunton Park goalscoring sequence - when they host Walsall today.

1. 1995
This was a vintage United fightback in the Division Three title season of 1994/5. Promotion rivals Walsall took the lead through Kevin Wilson. Cue David Reeves...
2. 1993
A nip-and-tuck contest in Mick Wadsworth's first season in charge, as record signing Reeves got his first goal for the club, Walsall stuck a leveller past Mervyn Day - and then Simon Davey grabbed a second-half winner at the Warwick Road End.
3. 1991
A high-scoring tussle in the largely bleak season of 1991/2. United ran up three goals at home, thanks to a brace from Tony Fyfe and an Andy Barnsley penalty - but were pegged back to a 3-3 draw...
4. 1992
The first league game of the Michael Knighton era, and perhaps a hint at the eventful times ahead. United again scored three - George Oghani, Andy Watson and a belter of an own-goal - but the Saddlers got four...
5. 1998
Will Varty goals for the Blues were rare to say the least. But the young Cumbrian defender popped up with one here to rescue a point for the struggling Blues in the 1997/8 third-tier campaign...
6. 2013
This was an archetypal home game in the futile survival bid of 2013/14 under Graham Kavanagh. Carlisle scored first - a combination of Liam Noble, post and goalkeeper's back - but a late Saddlers equaliser pushed United a little closer to the League One drop...
