Cumbrian footballer Ryan Bowman is back in training after the heart "episode" that saw him taken to hospital last weekend.
The Carlisle-born player has been given medication should he suffer a repeat of the problem.
But Bowman's manager at Shrewsbury Town, Steve Cotterill, has said testing has shown Bowman has suffered no lasting effects on his heart and he is able to return to training.
The former Carlisle United striker had to be substituted in the Shrews' game at Ipswich and taken to hospital with a racing heart rate and after suffering palpitations.
Cotterill has given an update on the 29-year-old to the local media in Shropshire.
"We don't want to say it's a freak because he [Bowman] has had an episode of that before, but now he's got medication," he told the Shropshire Star.
"He trained this morning for the first time, he's got the medication now that if anything like that happens again he has to take straight away.
"There's no longer lasting damage to his heart, which is always a bonus, so we just need to wait and see how he is, he's got to get a little bit of training under his belt now.
"He seems relieved, like we all would."
