Carlisle United are reminding fans that they will need a Covid-19 pass to attend next Tuesday's away game against Newport County.

The October 19 fixture at Rodney Parade will see supporters subject to Welsh government legistlation surrounding the pandemic.

They have announced that people aged 18 and over who are attending terraced stadiums with more than 4,000 people must present a digital or paper NHS Covid pass or proof of a negative lateral flow test.

The Blues' website says fans are encouraged to obtain a form of Covid pass at the earliest opportunity.

Fans will be spot-checked at the turnstiles at Rodney Parade.

"Supporters that are unable to provide a Covid pass will not be able to access the stadium."

People who are fully vaccinated can sign up for their NHS Covid pass online, or can request a paper version by calling 119.

Those who have medical exemptions from being fully vaccinated are asked to provide proof of a recent negative lateral flow test.

For any further information, please contact Newport County direct by either calling 01633 302012 or emailing office@newport-county.co.uk.

More details are on United's website. The Blues have been allocated 221 tickets for the game in south Wales, priced at £22 for adults, and they are on sale at Brunton Park.
