Beech's exit, confirmed in a statement by Carlisle United, came following the club's 3 - 0 loss to Bristol Rovers - taking the club to third bottom in League Two.

Beech's assistant Gavin Skelton has been placed in caretaker charge, along with experienced youth coach Eric Kinder.
