Former Carlisle United one-game wonder Arthur Gnahoua has bagged a League One move.

The forward, who was released by Bolton last month, has signed for newly-promoted Morecambe.

The 28-year-old has signed for the Shrimps under new boss Stephen Robinson as they prepare for life in the third tier.

It is the latest step in a career which saw an injury-hit spell at Brunton Park in 2019.

Gnahoua managed just one sub appearance after joining that January, later leaving Carlisle at the end of the campaign.

He made 30 appearances for promoted Bolton last season, mostly from the bench.

Robinson said on Morecambe's website: "I am really excited about getting this signing over the line.

"Arthur can play anywhere across the front line, he’s quick, has an eye for goal and has the ability to change a game in an instant.”

Gnahousa added: "It's a good club to be at and almost getting automatic promotion last season and then winning the play-offs shows how good the side is.

"My strengths are getting on the ball and creating chances, I'm hoping I can bring that to the team and score some goals this season."
