In today's gallery, we took a look back through our archives at some of our region's most dedicated England football fanatics.
I'm sure everybody knows somebody who loves the beautiful game, and indeed the Three Lions, to levels of massive dedication but in today's set of pictures, we met some of Carlisle's most enthusiastic fans from down the years.
With Euro 2020 fever well and truly underway and England off to a winning start for a first time in their history at the Euros, there is much cause for optimism.
But for now it is also very enjoyable to look back at the days in years gone by when so many of us have got behind the team in their quest for a first major tournament crown since 1966.
