Powfoot golfers have been busy with a raft of competitions as players get back on the course.

The most recent on Monday was the Otters' Lindsay Trophy 4bbb stableford over 13 holes, won by Bill Sturgeon and Norman Taylor with 33 points as Alan Cook and Bill Thomson were runners-up with 32 bih and Neil McQuiston and Andy Penman third with 32.

Saturday was the Gents' Medal, with Division One won by Stephen Moffat with 75-02-73, with Keith Burns second on 82-09-73 and Bob McCracken third on 80-06-74.

Division Two was won by Steven McQuade with 80-12-68, Richard Smith with 87-12-75 was second and Nicky Nicholson came in third with 88-13-75 bih.

The Ladies' Elsie Minto Cup 13-hole stableford last Thursday saw victory for Margaret Mannall with 29 points bih, pipping Eileen Broatch on 29 and Anne Tebbutt on 28 bih.

And on May 4, the Ladies Kinmount Cup was won by Aileen Walker with 86-13-73, with Alison Cloy second on 97-23-74 and Clarice Quinn 104-29-75.
