It was a decade that started with a false dawn, ended with a miracle, and in between, there was lots of turbulence and a few years of glory.
The 1990s at Carlisle United were among the most colourful, entertaining and ultimately controversial in the club's history.
From the early-90s heroes such as Paul Proudlock and Keith Walwyn, through the mid-decade promotion and Wembley stars of Mick Wadsworth's 'deckchair army', to a bunch of talented young Cumbrians and finally the extraordinary day Jimmy Glass saved the Blues, things were never dull at Brunton Park.
