Promising Carlisle United midfielder Josh Dixon is back in training with the Blues after injury.
The 20-year-old has been sidelined recently with a minor groin issue.
But the talented Cumbrian is back with the squad and ready to push for more first-team involvement, Dixon having made three first-team appearances this season.
Head coach Chris Beech said: “Josh was due to play in the reserve game that had to get cancelled because of the weather on Wednesday.
“He picked up a groin strain, in his hip, but he’s back training with us today.
“With a bit of luck he can continue to train and we’ll see what happens.
“It must be difficult for him…we found this period from Christmas to now difficult [without playing many games], but he’s actually had two years not playing football [because of knee injuries].
“He needs to get going and playing. We’ll have to have a look at that when we know he’s completed a week’s worth of training.”
Beech is also due to be updated on defender Morgan Feeney’s progress from a broken foot.
The January signing remains sidelined along with young winger Jamie Armstrong, who has a broken ankle.
Midfielder Danny Devine, meanwhile, remains on the comeback trail after knee surgery, with a possible return next month.
