Carlisle United picked up a point from their League Two clash with Salford City.

George Tanner put the Cumbrians ahead before sub James Wilson equalised for the home side.

Happy with a draw in the end. Scrappy game (@scholes_peter)

Fair result. Farman was our best player which says a lot. Really think we should be seeing more of Toure but there's loads of games to come so sure he'll have his chance. We were much better than on Tuesday night so that's encouraging. (@UKnowtheDrill)

Fair. Good first half performance but they came on strong and were good value for their goal in the latter stages. Farman outstanding but also good performances from Anderton and Patrick. Good to stop the rot - think the players will be happy to be back on home turf on Tuesday. (@lewisrids3)

Solid point. Still some rustiness but fitness levels definitely improved. Defence has been solid, getting Guy back to 2020 form is the key. (@WindersMurphy)

Well, we've not lost any points to Salford above us. Good result in my eyes (@dougrmurphy)

A good point against a good side. Seen a lot of negativity & think some fans need reminded they’re unbeaten at home all season and we’re playing catch up, as we will for a few weeks. Footy ain’t straight forward. We’ll hit our stride again & will be up there, no bother. (@Adwhitfield94)

Was a good point. Under pressure the majority of the game was always going to be that way due to the way Salford play. Shame we couldn’t hold on but there won’t be a better time to play Tranmere. (@xx_glenny)

Good result against a strong team. I thought Hayden in particular was very good today. (@f_analytics)

Happy with a point although a bit disappointed taking the lead and wind up drawing another game match fitter .. we need to start winning some games otherwise that top spot is going to be getting further away .... (@Alistairwest6)

Think we still look a bit Rusty and rode our luck a bit 2nd half, but take that all day long. (@BrianBtinternet)

Considering the lack of game time & quality of the opposition it's a good point. Add to that the number of chances faced today and the lack of chances created then it's an especially good result. Good grit and character shown again by the side. Could end up being a vital point. (@BackoSkiddaw)

Farman is massively underrated. Could have conceded 3 or 4 if it wasn't for him. (@cufcmike)

No doubt at all decent point , but a real worry is the one dimensional football we are playing, a lot of hoofball , giving the forwards very little chance to impose themselves on the game , the intensity that gave us so many chances seems to have gone at the moment (@matty017)

Be much better if our forwards could score more on a regular basis would it not. (@PlaskettRobert)

Decent point considering we are still a bit rusty and away from home at tough opponents. We need to get some wins at home now to boost the confidence back up starting with Tranmere on Tuesday night. (@gordon_matty)

Really good point against a decent side, would have taken it beforehand and happy with it now. Thought we looked solid and soaked up most of what they had to throw at us. Guy was quiet and Mellish still seems a little out of sorts, we'll get there though #cufc (@phleaslittle)

Second half thought Salford had more chances..so in the end would take the draw.. (@alantorchwood)

Whether it’s ‘rustiness’ or something else, we’re not playing the way we did. Would be interesting to ask Beech if/why we’ve changed tactics. We used to press very high and when we got the ball back we moved it forward quickly and neatly. Now we’re just hoofing it. (@EdJBurgess)

The thread running through seems to be " long ball" which was very evident on Tuesday as well. Wasn't able to watch today but kept getting updated from family. Another tough task on Tuesday, its tight at the top for sure. Feels like we've slipped, but only 4 points off automatic (@LindaNi121202)
