Former Carlisle United striker Andy Cook is on the move in League Two.

The frontman has left Mansfield Town to join Bradford City on loan until the end of the season.

Ex-Blues youth product Cook, 30, could make his debut against former club Barrow this weekend.

The striker scored three goals in 24 appearances for the Stags this term but has found starts hard to come by during Mansfield's resurgence under Nigel Clough.

Cook has been at Mansfield since the summer of 2019, after spells with Tranmere, Walsall, Barrow and Grimsby.

He came through United's Under-18 set-up under Eric Kinder and was a prolific scorer in the youth side alongside Gary Madine.

But Cook did not make a professional appearance for the Blues before moving on in 2009.

He could be back at Brunton Park to face Carlisle when Bradford visit on March 13.
