St Helens star James Graham has admitted Workington Town would be the only other club he would consider playing for on his return from Australia.
Speaking to the Saints Podcast after rejoining the club after a stint Down Under, Graham said there were only ever two options for him.
And although he has re-signed for Saints, he acknowledged his Cumbrian roots with a nod to Town.
Graham, whose father John hails from Maryport, said: "I don't know if I really had a plan when I left.
"I did know that there would only be St Helens or, potentially Workington Town, that I'd only ever consider playing for if I came home."
The forward is also a patron of Cumbrian children’s charity Team Evie.
During his first stint at St Helens, Graham made over 200 appearances and will make his second debut next month when Super League gets back underway.
He has returned after a lengthy spell out in Australia's NRL with Canterbury Bulldogs and St George Illawarra Dragons.
In other news former Catalans Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous has been appointed as the first head coach of the Ottawa Aces.
Canadian side Ottawa are due to enter Betfred League 1 in 2021, having taken on the licence of Hemel Stags.
