Former Window Outlet Cockermouth and District Snooker League Division One champions Workington Conservative Club and Station Road B were unable to be separated this week as a fiercely-contested fixture ended up being deadlocked at 3-3.

A win for Cons’ Julia’s Plaza gave the home side the perfect start but as current Division One leading player Peter O’Hagan produced a break of 48 in frame two Station B were level.

League leaders Cons then went 2-1 up as Alan Moore won emphatically but back came Station B with a victory from Mark Tunstall.

A low-scoring win for Ryan Barker put Cons in front again at 3-2 but in the last frame of the match Station B fought back again with a Simon Frazer victory to tie up the proceedings at 3-3.

Workington Golf Club produced the most convincing performance of the round with a 6-0 whitewash of Workington Legion.

Division One’s Station Road A bounced back after last week’s defeat to record a 4-2 away win against Division Two’s Flimby Social.

Finally Workington’s United Club made the journey to Maryport a successful one as they defeated Maryport Social 4-2 in the fixture between the two Division Two sides.
