The trial trails continued ahead of the regular season resuming with an event at Rowrah on Sunday.
James and Ava Mcclellan Miss Ava strode to victory at Eskett Quarry ahead of Bill Mellon’s Cracking Last One Two.
In the seniors, Joel Bulman’s Baba O’Reilly ran on well to beat Tony and Connor Irving’s Bob.
There is a trial trail at Lamplugh on Saturday at 12.30pm which will be open to all.
Sunday is the Hound Trailing Association’s annual general meeting at the Hundith Hill Hotel in Cockermouth at 2pm.
Saturday evening saw the hotel host the Cockermouth and Workington area trailers’ presentation evening.
The area committee presented £100 cheques to Bridekirk Church, Buttermere Show, Seaton Rugby Club, Cockermouth Show, Mountain Rescue and Loweswater Show. Cockermouth Supporters Committee presented £100 cheques to Greysouthern Young Farmers, Air Ambulance, Plumbland School and Gilcrux Social Fund.
