Carlisle United’s fellow strugglers will bid to close the gap at the foot of League Two tonight.
Bottom side Stevenage host fifth-bottom Oldham, while second-bottom Morecambe are at home to Port Vale.
Wins for both would see the gap between Chris Beech’s side and the foot of the table cut to four points.
“I know we’ve got more than enough to win the next game against any League Two opponent,” insisted Graham Westley, whose Stevenage are winless in 10 league games.
Carlisle’s potential FA Cup fourth round opponents will also be established tonight when Blackpool host Reading in their replay.
The winners will host either the Blues or Cardiff, who meet tomorrow at Brunton Park.
