Brighton's Cumbrian frontman Glenn Murray says on-loan Leeds United defender Ben White’s form has come as “no surprise” to him.
White, 22, has made 19 appearances after making the temporary move to Elland Road during the summer, and has helped Leeds make a superb start to the season as they target promotion to the Premier League.
Former Workington Reds and Carlisle United man Murray believes White will prove to be a big asset during his season-long loan.
“It’s absolutely no surprise to me,” the 36-year-old told Sky Sports.
"Not long ago, I trained at Brighton and he would often step in front of me and I’m like ‘who is this kid?
"He’s gone out, and he’s been fantastic at Leeds.”
Tomorrow, Murray will hope to be involved when the Seagulls host Premier League leaders Liverpool.
