Alex Mitchell is set to make his first start of the season in goal for Workington Reds against Kendal Town tonight as one of three changes made by manager Danny Grainger to Saturday’s line-up.
Jim Atkinson, who has enjoyed a strong start between the sticks for Reds, and Jay Kelly are not in the squad and Brad Carroll will start on the bench, with Mitchell, Robbie Hebson and Brad Hubbold coming into the starting XI.
Reds: Mitchell, Hebson, Rowntree, Wordsworth, Smith, Hubbold, Symington, Casson, Bowman, Allison, Tinnion. Subs: Clarke, Waterston, Maguire, Carroll, Ivison.
Kendal Town: Bacon, O'Brien, Fagan, Wainwright, Allington, Bamba, Hodgson, Pattinson, Jaaskelainen, Dickson, Hulme. Subs: Paterson, Bateson, Moore, Holliday, Fitzsimons.
