Silloth came to terms with their enforced promotion to the Smurfit Kappa Cumberland County League’s Premier Division as they got a 2-1 victory over Cockermouth.

Ryan Hanley’s goal and an Andy Hinde penalty helped Silloth win, with Cockermouth’s consolation coming from Callum West.

Workington Juniors White won 4-3 at Gosforth as Tony Berwick notched two goals supported by Callum Killick and Jamie Bramley. Cameron Bowness scored a brace and Matthew Pierce also netted for Gosforth.

Aspatria beat Carlisle City Development 5-2 at home with Malcolm Graham and Rohan Anderson scoring two each and Richard Hudson completing their tally.

Cleator Moor Celtic added to Bransty Rangers' woes with a 7-3 win in midweek as James Bell helped himself to a hat-trick, with Tom Houghton, Owen Charlton, Jake Martin and Ellis Trotter scoring one each. Bransty replied through Liam O’Pray and an Adam Smith brace.

Division One saw Maryport Athletic beat Workington Reds Black 3-0 as Chris Dawes, Attlee Skillen and Harvey Harrison scored.

The Whitehaven Miners game with Moor Row and Mirehouse’s clash with Windscale Reserves both ended 6-3,

Dylan Elsworth scored three for Miners as Jack Harrison notched a brace and Paul McNally added another goal, with a pair of Ben Graham goals and one from Scott Davidson for Moor Row.

Mirehouse’s six goals came courtesy of the Smiths, with Kyran bagging a hat-trick and Ryan and Aiden scoring one each, while Brandon O’Fee also scored. Windscale’s contribution came from Andrew Bezuszko, Daniel McAdam and Sam Thompson.

Northbank defeated Crown Newlaithes 3-2.

Silloth entertained Cleator Moor Celtic in the Premier Division on Saturday and won 4-2 with the two Andys – Hinde and Hardman – scoring and a double from Adam Carr. Liam Johnstone and Connor Cooke scored consolation goals for Celtic.

Aspatria travelled to Gosforth for a 2-2 draw, with Steve Walker and Lewis Jolly notching the home team’s goals as Andrew Trestianu scored both for the visitors.

Wigton won 2-1 with goals from Ryan Studholme and Richard O’Keefe.

Carl Denver scored twice as Workington Reds White overcame Carlisle City Development 2-0.

In Division One, Whitehaven Amateurs Reserves lost 6-2 against Maryport Athletic, with Ethan Weir scoring a hattrick and Simon Pritchard and Kyle Jenkins scoring long-range consolation efforts.

Northbank trounced Mirehouse 10-0 and Crown Newlaithes beat Windscale Reserves 6-0.
