Carlisle United fans have until tonight to have their say on which Blues legends should be immortalised in bars at Brunton Park.

Supporters’ groups are asking for suggestions on which United icons should have bars named after them at the ground.

Voting will then be held at this Saturday’s family fun day and pre-season friendly against Fleetwood to see which ex-Carlisle favourites will get the nod.

The stadium already has bars named after various club favourites such as Peter McConnell, Allan Ross, George McVitie and Chris Balderstone.

Other suggestions are now invited which could see the Sunset Suite, Sporting Inn, Pioneer Stand Bar and Sponsor’s Lounge also renamed.

After discussions at the Carlisle United Supporters’ Groups meetings, supporters’ website thecumbrians.net are collating suggestions which can be added to a thread on the messageboard

or via twitter @TheCumbriansNet.

Details of how to vote will be publicised once a shortlist has been compiled.
