It has been a great few weeks for Wath Brow Hornets juniors sides, with a final appearance secured and youngsters kitted out in new strips.
The club’s under-8s and under-10s have both received new playing kits. The under-8s were sponsored by B&H Plastering, Cleator Moor, and the under-10s strip was sponsored by Adair Autos of Cleator Moor.
The teams and the club thanked both sponsors for their continued support.
Wath Brow under-12s recently travelled to Barrow Island in the Cumbria County Cup and secured their place in the final.
It was a great game to watch with end-to-end action from both teams. The young Hornets eventually ran out 32-14 winners and will now play Askam in the final on Sunday, September 22.
The club’s under-14s have also progressed the County Cup final on the same day.
