Cumbrian motorsport star Jonny Edgar moved to the north of the Alps for round two of the ADAC F4 series at the Red Bull Ring, in Austria.
Red Bull junior Edgar, of Asby, was using the German championship outing as extra practice and development time in his Jenzer Motorsport car.
So the 15-year-old Briton was pleased with progress and a great drive from 22nd to 11th in race three. He will take the improvements into his Italian F4 campaign where he is contesting the full series.
“It was good in the last race, I really enjoyed it,” enthused Edgar. “In the early laps I passed quite a few cars, then we had a few safety car periods and I was trying to pass people after those so it was quite good.”
“It was a shame about race two because I got hit and got some front wing damage and rear suspension damage so I had to pull in. That is why we started at the back for race three.
“We were using this weekend more as testing, to improve the car for the Italian series really.”
