Workington Town have been boosted ahead of this afternoon's derby with Whitehaven by the return of Sean Penkywicz in the hooking role.

And Whitehaven welcome back Chris Taylor who was only rated as 50/50 ahead of the game and he will start in the full-back role.

Town also have a new youngster on their subs bench. Tyler Lancaster, 19, who spent time with the Warrington Academy side is with the club on trial.

Jamie Doran starts at full-back for the Workington side with testimonial star Carl Forber partnering with new boy Izaac Farrell in the half-backs.

The game has been delayed for at least half an hour with the match officials delayed in getting to Derwent Park for the Good Friday derby.

Town skipper Ollie Wilkes misses out through injury with Stevie Scholey and Sam Hopkins starting at prop.

Haven see former Town stars Sam Forrester and Callum Phillips combining at half-back with several more ex-Workington stars throughout the ranks including centre Jason Mossop, and packmen Marc Shackley, Kris Coward and Brett Phillips, plus hooker Sam Dowsett.

And there is a place on the bench for new on-loan signing Jake Carter, who takes his place alongside Dion Aiye and two more ex-Town stars in Kurt Maudling and James Newton.
