Cockermouth swim star Luke Greenbank was in fine form this morning as he smashed his heat of the 100m backstroke in the British Swimming Championships.
Greenbank, who swam in the final heat, finished with a time of 54.15 to qualify as the fastest contender for tonight's final.
The 21-year-old, who trains at Loughborough, looked delighted with his qualifying time after leading the heat from the off.
The Championships are taking place at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre in Glasgow.
Greenbank was involved in last year's Commonwealth Games held in the Gold Coast, Australia, where he won a silver in the 4x100m medley with Adam Peaty, James Guy and Ben Proud.
