Penrith AFC chairman Brian “Billy” Williams is looking forward to hosting Carlisle United manager Steven Pressley at a club evening this week.

As part of the Bonny Blues’ 125th anniversary year celebrations, the club will hold an evening with Pressley this Thursday.

It will get under way at about 7.30pm.

Williams said: “We have one or two things coming up [to mark the club’s anniversary year]. This is kick-starting it really.

“A few tickets have gone. Obviously, there are a lot of Carlisle United supporters around this area so we are hoping that they do get down on the night.”

Tickets cost £5. For tickets, email or ring Matt Rogers on 07770 401274.

Penrith ended their Northern League Division One season with a 6-0 thrashing at Sunderland RCA on Saturday.

They will end their competitive 2018/19 campaign when they take on Carlisle United in the Cumberland Cup final at Brunton Park on April 30.

It’s the third successive season Penrith have reached the final.
