Carlisle Rugby Club have claimed the North One West title with one match still to play.
Having beaten Firwood Waterloo 31-10, they are five points clear of second-placed Blackburn who claimed a 36-22 success at Penrith today.
That sees Matt Shields' side claim the title, ahead of their last league fixture of the campaign against basement boys De La Salle next Saturday.
If Blackburn win their final fixture of the 2018/19 season next Saturday against Douglas, and also take a bonus-point, they could move level on points with Carlisle on 100 points.
But the Warwick Road outfit would still be crowned champions, having won 20 league games this term, as opposed to the 18 that Blackburn have won - which would go up to 19 if they win next weekend - with the final league position determined on amount of league wins.
