Carlisle United are offering free coach travel to next week's rearranged game against Crewe for certain fans who had planned to go to the original fixture by train.
They are making the gesture to those supporters who had bought train tickets for last weekend's scheduled game and had been unable to gain a refund on their rail fare after the match was postponed.
United vice-presidents Roger Smith and Chris Reay have, through their respective firms Thomas Graham & Sons Ltd and Reays, now sponsored two 49-seater buses to go to next Tuesday's rearranged game at the Alexandra Stadium.
Fans can book a place on the coach by visiting the club's ticket office with proof of purchase of a train ticket for last Saturday's game
Places will be booked on a first come, first served basis.
United’s director of football David Holdsworth said: “I can’t thank our local sponsors enough for getting on board with this.
"We urge fans to get in touch with our ticket office so that they can take advantage of the free travel that has now been provided."
