Carlisle United fans are being invited to contribute to the city’s foodbank in a Christmas appeal at Brunton Park tomorrow.
United’s supporters’ trust CUOSC have joined to club to stage a collection for those less fortunate in the community.
There will be a collection point in the Study Centre next to the Blues Store before tomorrow’s game from 1.30-2.45pm.
CUOSC say everything collected will be handed over to Carlisle Foodbank whose aim is to provide three days of emergency food for people in crisis.
Every donation of tinned or long life food is valuable but the Foodbank is always in need of UHT or powdered milk. Toiletries, nappies, baby wipes and household cleaning products would also be appreciated.
