The Government is reminding the public of social distancing guidelines and staying safe outside the home as more businesses and establishments reopen.

As lockdown eases further from August 1 with most of the leisure industry reopening, the Government is asking the public to remain aware of social distancing. It is advised that members of the public maintain a social distance from those outside their household or support bubble.

The public are being reminded to maintain a strict hygiene regime, keeping the hands and face as clean as possible.

Indoor places are to be kept well ventilated as evidence suggests that this reduces the risk of transmission.

Crowded places are still to be avoided and face coverings will be mandatory in shops and supermarkets from this Friday.
