A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital following a crash involving a car.
Police were called to the crash shortly after 1pm this afternoon, which involved a Citroen car and a motorcycle.
Officers closed the A685 in both directions, while they dealt with the incident.

The crash was between the B6259 Appleby Road and Daleholme Lane.
The motorcyclist, who is a man from Lancashire, was airlifted to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle.
Cumbria Police says the extent of his injuries are not known at this time, but that they are not believed to be life-threatening.
The road has now been reopened by police.
