A new family-run waffle business is set to land in Cumbria this week.
Waffling0n is the brainchild of Carlisle chef Alex Peart, who has always dreamed of working for himself.
And now, with his new business, the chef can do just that, as he prepares for an official opening on October 25.
His food stand has already been booked to provide a sweet and savoury waffle mix at five locations across Cumbria in the coming weeks, including Soccer World Carlisle, Wetheral Village Hall and Brampton Moot Hall.
Alex said: "Waffling0n has been in the making for around a year. We bought a horse box and totally renovated it into a fully equipped mobile waffle trailer
"We will be trading at local villages, and also available to go book for any events, weddings and parties."
Alex promises friendly service, homemade food and local ingredients at his fresh food stand, which will serve a variety of waffles with bold flavours.
He added: "People can expect something different. Not everyone has had a chicken and waffle but their flavours balance together well and they are extremely popular.
"I am looking forward to traveling to different locations and spreading my passion with others. So far we have had some amazing feedback and there is something for everyone's taste buds, whether your a fan of savoury or sweet."
However, if he had to pick just one waffle from his new menu, Alex would go for the Yankee.
He said: "My personal favourite is the Yankee. There is mouth-watering buttermilk marinated chicken with a sweet but smoky BBQ sauce and a couple of rashers of bacon to top it off. My two girls disagree with this and they would say choco-fate all day long."
The choco-fate is one for those with a sweet tooth as it features a chocolate waffle, with white chocolate sauce and a chocolate crumb.
Alex concluded: "Waffling0n is a family run business. My dad has been fantastic at the renovation work. It's now my mum and partner's turn to help me serve and run the show. Without them my dream wouldn't have been possible."
