SCHOOL raises over £300 for cancer support morning with a coffee morning.
William Howard School's student leadership team organised and hosted a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, the national charity that provides specialist health care, information, and financial support to people affected by cancer.
At the event, the school raised £300.68 for the charity while students and staff enjoyed a coffee and a cake.
Speaking after the event, William Howard School writing on social media, said: "A big thank you to the students who baked for the occasion and to the very generous local businesses that supported the fundraising by donating goods – Mr Brown’s Coffee Shop, Half Moon Wholefoods, Off the Wall Café, Capon Tree Café and Brampton Farm Shop."
