The 'mini' police at a West Cumbrian primary school have raised over £190 with a charity coffee morning.
Year five and six students at Disington Community School in Workington raised £191.37 for Macmillan Cancer Support by organising a charity coffee morning on Friday, September 27.
As part of the coffee morning, the students served hot drinks as well as a selection of cakes to raise money for charity which provides specialist health care, information, and financial support to people affected by cancer.
Writing on social media after the charity coffee morning, Copeland Police said: "Well done to Distington Mini Police for organising a Macmillan coffee morning.
"Today they raised £191.37 for Macmillan cancer support which is fantastic.
"You were a credit to your school and community. you should be extremely proud."
