A church is set to host a 'wonderful' music event this weekend.
Wetheral Church will host the group 'Ex-Cathedra' which is made up of the lay clerks of Carlisle Cathedral at the music event on Saturday, September 28.
At the event, the group will sing a selection of sacred and secular music on the theme of 'As day turns to night'
Writing on social media ahead of the event, they said: "Another free concert coming up at Wetheral Church!
"This time, the Lay Clerks of Carlisle Cathedral have joined together with a few friends to form the group 'Ex-Cathedra'.
"They will be singing a wonderful selection of music, both secular and sacred, old and new, on the theme 'As the Day Turns to Night.'"
