A MAN has been arrested for a shoplifting offence in West Cumbria.
The man has been charged for an incident involving bottles of spirits being stolen.
In a post on social media, Cumbria Police wrote: "Yesterday a male was arrested for an offence of shoplifting that occurred in the area of Workington on September 18.
"The incident involved the male stealing bottles of spirits from a store. The male has since been charged and will appear before Workington Magistrates Court on October 8."
