Richardson's Fine Wines is hosting its third annual Macmillan Coffee morning.
It will take place on Friday, September 27, in aid of the work of the Macmillan nursing team. Anyone is welcome to come and join.
Gerard Richardson and Louise Savage, who run the shop, explain it is a cause close to their hearts.
Mrs Savage said: "Gerard's diagnosis two years ago focussed our minds on this awful indiscriminately disease and also the fabulous work of the Macmillan team and we resolved to do our bit to help.
"We have an array of home-baked cakes as well as some treats from the shop on offer and it's generally a really lovely morning. So if you can spare a few minutes for cake and let's face it, who can’t, we would love to see you and we always have a good natter about town news."
The Macmillan nurses are specialist nurses that specialise in cancer care and treatment. They work in Hospitals, hospices, and in the community and are funded by donations.
