WHITEHAVEN Coastguard Rescue Team have rescued and a person and a dog over a cliff in Saltom Bay.
The rescue team were called out to rescue the person and the dog over the cliff at Saltom Bay on Sunday, September 22.
A team was already in the area after responding to an earlier callout and the person and the dog were 'safely rescued'.
Writing on social media, they said: "Please be mindful the cliffs can be a very dangerous place and our rope rescue team can be there very quickly to safely rescue humans and pets, without the need of putting yourself in danger."
