A craft fair is being held to raise vital funds for a Cumbrian charity that helps people with cerebral palsy.
Former Wigton Mayor and town councillor, Christopher Scott, is encouraging people to come along to the event at the Howard Arms in Brampton and help support a 'charity close to his heart', Cumbria Cerebral Palsy.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 28, from 11am to 2pm.
"They do amazing work to support adults with disabilities in our community.
"I have been involved with them for a few years now, and I have seen firsthand the difference they make in people's lives," Cllr Scott said.
The money raised at the event will go towards helping the more than 160 people affected by cerebral palsy in Cumbria.
"By purchasing items from the fair, you are not only getting unique and thoughtful gifts for your loved ones, but you are also making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
"Let's come together as a community and support Cumbria Cerebral Palsy in its mission to help individuals with disabilities live fulfilling and enriched lives.
"Your support can truly make a difference."
