Penrith will this weekend aim to embark on their best run in the FA Vase for eight years.
Darren Edmondson’s Bonny Blues are at home to Padiham in the second qualifying round of the non-league cup competition.
Northern League Division One side Penrith have already seen off Ilkley Town in the Vase and now host Padiham who play in the North West Counties League Premier Division.
Penrith last progressed to the third qualifying round in the 2016/17 season, when they made it as far as the third round proper.
Victory tomorrow would also secure £725 in prize money. Edmondson’s side are hoping to bounce back from last weekend’s 3-2 defeat to Newcastle Blue Star.
Their fellow Northern League side Carlisle City are not in action this weekend. Dan Kirkup's side progressed through the first round of the Fred Conway Cumberland Cup on Tuesday with a 5-0 win.
Two goals from Jake Simpson and further strikes by Romeo Park, Kieron Blair and Liam Lightfoot earned victory for City, who are back in league action next weekend against West Auckland Town.
Cumbria's top non-league side, Workington Reds, are back on home soil on Saturday when they take on Whitby Town in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
Mark Fell's side are hoping to end a three-game losing run after defeats to Bamber Bridge, Matlock Town and Blyth Spartans, leaving Reds 18th in the table. Visitors Whitby are 14th.
