A secondary school has hosted an 'interactive' open evening for local Year Six students.
Brampton's William Howard School (WHS) hosted the open evening for prospective students on Tuesday, September 17.
In the evening, Year Six students were given a tour of the school's facilities and introduced to some of its subjects.
Following the open evening headteacher Kath Pigdon said: "The school was buzzing with energy, and it was lovely to welcome potential future students of William Howard who were so enthusiastic.
"Our students were the stars of the evening as they guided our visitors around and passionately talked about life at WHS."
On the evening, a large team of the school's students were also on hand to lead tours and help with activities.
Mrs Buckley, Transition Lead, said: "We are all so proud of every student who supported the evening.
"Parents praised the students for their professionalism and passion for their school."
