A HANDCRAFTED mosaic has been unveiled to celebrate the Fairtrade logo's 30th anniversary.
The artwork, created by Charlotte White from Carlisle Matters, was presented to Adrienne Gill at Carlisle's One World Centre (COWC) by the Mayor of Carlisle, Chris Southward.
It will be featured in Carlisle's World Shop, just off English Street.
Ms White said: "It's been an honour to create the mosaic for the Fairtrade shop on the 30th anniversary of the logo and have the piece displayed in the city centre.
"It's such a great shop to find a special gift or treat for yourself."
The anniversary marks three decades since a Fairtrade-certified product first appeared on supermarket shelves across the nation.
The mosaic is part of a series of creative works set to appear across Carlisle.
