THE team from a garden centre near Penrith has embarked on their mission to deliver more medical vehicles to Ukraine's frontline.
Plumpton's The Pot Place Garden Centre is in the process of delivering its tenth and eleventh ambulances across European borders since the war began, part of a total of 17 vehicles, including four bikes and two cars.
This time around, a Peugeot and Toyota 4WD rescue vehicle are filled with locally donated items, such as six generators, children's clothes, winter jackets, and bedding.
Despite the recent announcement of the garden centre being up for sale due to retirement plans, Paul Thomas, co-owner, has assured the public that the team will continue to deliver vehicles to the frontline.
The group intends to continue to send more vehicles after their return, and is appealing for more donations of generators, new and part-used candles which will be used in Ukrainian trenches to keep warm during winter, baby products, and warm winter clothing.

Co-owner of the garden centre, Paul Thomas, expressed gratitude to local businesses that continue to support the initiative, and to those who donate funds directly or at the garden centre.
"Ferry tonight then three days to the border with Ukraine.
"Looking forward to seeing the team from Lviv EMS again and listening to how we can help them in the future,” he said.
