A crash between a car and a tractor resulted in a woman being taken to hospital with facial injuries.
She was driving a Skoda Fabia and the tractor was towing a trailer, with which she collided on the A7 (Carlisle Road) in Longtown.
The incident was reported to Cumbria Constabulary at roughly 6pm and resulted in a two-way closure from A6071 Albert Street to the Arthuret Church turnoff.
The road was reopened at around 7.30pm, police said.
