A crash has resulted in a road closure and heavy traffic.
The crash happened on the A7 (Carlisle Road) in Longtown, which was closed both ways from A6071 Albert Street to the Arthuret Church turnoff.
Emergency services were in attendance, and it was advised to avoid the area during that time as delays are likely.
As of roughly 8.40pm, no emergency services were spotted in the area, indicating the incident has since cleared, however when this happened is unclear.
Cumbria Constabulary and the Northwest Ambulance Service have been approached for a comment.
