A CHANGE of use application to extend studios/treatment rooms into a Carlisle flat has been put forward to the council.
Currently, the first floor of the building, on 12 Randall Street, is being used as a residential flat, which sits above The Sun Rooms sun bed/treatment unit on the ground floor.
The application was put forward to Cumberland Council by CONCEPT on behalf of The Sun Rooms.
The Sui Generis proposal seeks to retain the building's exterior, only adding five new UPVC window units as a part of the transformation.
The layout and secure site of the building will remain unchanged as the design aims to seamlessly integrate the new studio space into the existing structure.
One full-time and three part-time employees are included in the plans.
