A man has been charged with various crimes, including assaulting an emergency worker, after an incident that happened months ago.
Cumbria police said they were in Durham 'on enquiries' when they delivered a postal charge after an incident that happened near Brougham, Penrith, on February 29.
Jamie Cliff, 30, of Melrose Drive, Bishop Auckland, was charged with two counts of assaulting an emergency worker; resisting arrest, driving while disqualified, and being in charge of a motor vehicle while over the prescribed limit.
He will appear at North Cumbria Magistrates Court later this month.
