THIS week is a very important time for fans of one of the biggest fantasy sagas in the world.
Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts Day takes place on September 1, as fans celebrate the day that students in the fictional world of Harry Potter return to Hogwarts School.
Many people gather at Kings Cross Station in London or watch live streamed events via the Wizarding World website.
Whilst there is no official celebration taking place at Kings Cross this year there will be a number of celebrations held across the world.
It is a homegrown celebration created by fans of Harry Potter that pays homage to the iconic moment in the films and books where Harry would disappear through the wall to the mystical Platform Nine and Three Quarters.
This is the halfway point between Harry's life in the muggle world and the wizarding world. Fans love to countdown to 11am which is the time that the train is due to set off.
In the years that have passed since the books were released, the real King's Cross Station is recognised as an important placement in the stories.
A luggage cart has been installed into a wall, so fans could come and pretend to push their cart into the magical platform just like Harry did in the stories, which makes for excellent photos.
A shop named Platform Nine and Three Quarters has popped up at the station for fans to buy souvenirs and gifts, making the visit all the more special.
These photos show how fans of Harry Potter in Cumbria have shown their love for the franchise. We hope that these pictures bring back some fond memories for some of you.
