Looking for something to do this Bank Holiday weekend? Look no further than the Carlisle International Market, which has kicked off in full swing, bringing plenty of tastes and smells to the heart of the city.
Run by Market Place Europe and backed by Cumberland Council, the award-winning venue is giving shoppers a taste of authentic continental and international delights.
For food lovers, there is a tempting selection of continental and international flavours to sample, including Spanish Paella, Greek Gyros, a new Greek Vegan Deli serving a lot of tasty treats, Chinese, Indian, Polish, German, and plenty of other street foods.
There will also be a great selection of fresh foods including olives, British cheeses and chutneys, cakes, salami and pick-and-mix sweets.

The Box Bar is also on site serving cold beers and other beverages.
Green-fingered shoppers will not be disappointed either as the market will include popular Dutch plant seller with his wonderful array of shrubs, plants, trees and bulbs.
The market stalls will be open from Saturday, August 24, from 9 am to 6 pm, Sunday, August 25, from 10 am to 5 pm, and on Bank Holiday Monday, August 26, from 10 am to 5 pm.
