Etterby Street in Carlisle has been the latest in the city to receive a ‘facelift’ thanks to works worth £38,000.
Cumberland Council have undertaken ‘essential upgrades on Etterby Street to improve the road’s quality, to fix its defects and extended its lifespan.
Other upgrades include a fresh inlay, drainage renewal and brand-new road markings according to the council.

Cumberland Council said that they were “proud to keep enhancing our community’s roads”.
Works have also finished on Edgehill Road in Carlisle worth around £35,000. The road has been resurfaced with the kerb lines also renewed
Cumberland Council have announced a three-year deal worth more than £50 million with DSD Construction Ltd to help fix roads across the Cumberland Council area.
