NORTH Cumbria Integrated Care is calling on 'budding' medical students to attend a careers event.
Students will have to book to attend by Friday, June 28, by emailing Hayley.Nugent@ncic.nhs.uk.
The event will take place on July 5 and 6 at The Cumberland Infirmary.
Students aged 16 to 18 are invited to come along and find out more about what a career in medicine could offer.
In a post on social media, North Cumbria Integrated Care wrote: "If you are a student in years 11 – 13 and have ever considered a career in medicine, you are invited to come to our careers in medicine event.
"Our medical experts will be on hand to answer any of your questions and you will be able to try your hand at simulated training including delivering babies, inserting cannulas, fixing fractures, performing CPR, and checking for suspected cancer."
